Peace for Palestine
108 Peaceful Sun Salutations
Available spots
Service Description
📣 A call to action. 🕊 Will you join us to gather in peace and solidarity with those in Palestine. We will move, breathe, challenge ourselves and most of all take action to prevent this senseless genocide. 🗓 Saturday 21st June at 10am Summer Solstice at YoGrá Yoga Studio inn place of our usual 10am Saturday Flow Class. 🙏🏽 This is considered the “marathon” of the yoga world in that it takes focus, intention, stamina and determination. 👍🏽 What to expect: 108 Sun Salutations - you're welcome to do all or part, moving freely or in a chair, resting when needed. We will have informative speakers, information stands, petitions, boycott information, and refreshments available. The full 108 will take approx 2.5 hrs, you're welcome for some or all. Come and share space and energy with your fellow Kildare Yogis, connect with others calling for change. Take action. 🪷 Why? Funds and aid are not getting through. We need action, not money. So why this practice? 108 is a sacred number in Yogic and Spiritual philosophy. Sun Salutations are a way to energize the body, clear the mind, and connect with a higher purpose, particularly during times of transition. So it’s a perfect practice to do when we are looking to bring about change. 1️⃣0️⃣8️⃣ represents wholeness, infinity, and the relationship between the sun, moon, and the earth. The practice can be infused with intention and purpose, like making a positive impact for peace in the world, especially in Palestine. Inspired and words by Jeanie Jyanti Alchemy School of Yoga
