FAQ

Here are some questions I regularly get asked about coming to yoga class. If you have any other questions please feel free to message or call me and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • I'm not flexible! Can I do yoga?
Yes! As long as you can breathe you can do yoga! The yoga practice is not about touching your toes, its about what you learn about yourself on the way down. Yoga is suitable for all fitness levels and abilities.
  • What should I wear to class?
Wear something comfortable such as leggings and a light top or Tshirt. Bring a jumper and some socks for Shavasana as your body can cool down quite quickly at the end of class.
  • What do I need to bring with me?
If you have a mat you can bring it along, but if not I always have plenty. I provide blocks, blankets, cushions and belts too so that you can feel comfortable and supported during your practice. Just bring a bottle of water and a small towel too if you like.
  • I am pregnant, when can I start yoga?"
Firstly, congratulations! You can come to pregnancy yoga anytime after 14 weeks. We usually feel to tired before this and its best to see your doctor first to rule out any low/high blood pressure etc.
  • I have an injury. Can I come to class?
If you have an injury you should see your doctor or physiotherapist before coming to class. Always listen to your body, never push past pain and if something doesn't feel right in your body then don't do it. And don't forget to let me know before class starts if something new has come up.
  • How long does class last?
Most classes are one hour long.
