This is the easy way to begin your meditation journey and get your New Year off to a great calm start! The meditations consist of audio tracks and some videos. If you are using a computer you will be able to watch and listen on the website. If you are using the app, the audio will open in soundcloud. Day 1 Watch the video on how to sit comfortably, then practice a short simple meditation. Things you might need- a cushion, and blanket. Day 2 A short meditation focusing on the breath. Don't forget to set yourself up comfortably before you begin. Day 3 A meditation focusing on cultivating loving kindness. Day 4 Japa Mala meditation. We will be repeating the mantra Om Mani Padma Hum, you can use mala beads if you have them or any other type of beads that you might have at home will do fine. Don't worry if you haven't got any this meditation can be done just as easily without them. Day 5 Candle Gazing Meditation A small tea light will do, make sure you put it up on a stool or a chair. If you are not using a candle you can focus on any object such as a flower or an ornament. Day 6 Kosha Meditation exploring the layers of our being. You can sit or lie for this meditation. Make sure you have plenty of support. Day 7 The circle of breath. This meditation is best done sitting. Prop yourself up for the last day of the challenge
